Anyway, we put up some questions and answers regarding the contest that hopefully help you. The issues are mostly come from the comments of this journal that you might not read it. So here we go:
1. do we have to be a member to join the contest?
A: it would be preffered. if you dont want your messages stacks up, join and then unwatch "Deviation" and or "Journal/Poll entries". We would suggest you to keep watch the journal as the notification and announcements are mostly posted here. contests are both to offer prizes and advertise th group.
2. How will the pictures be judged? Talent, execution, idea?
A: well there will be some judgement of skill but mainly this one is about showing an idea-your idea - and if the picture we see matches the music you link underneath. judging will involve listening to each tune while staring at the picture. if it makes us FEEL the music then the picture will win! it doesn't matter if you cant draw something but give it your best; if we can see the effort and where the idea is based in the music it will be in with a chance like any other.
3. How many entries are we allowed to enter into the contest?
A: we accept one or two. Four will be the max. it will be the best if you send us your best visual work - in your opinion - to us. But if it's so hard to pick, then just send three or max four to us. Make sure you post it on the right folder. only one from each person is getting through to the vote. thats only fair. No one will win more than one prize no matter how many entries they make.
UPDATED:
We are now scribble the judges papers which write the qualification to be judge. This is to make sure that every judge will act objectively.
And time is ticking,...! You still have time to submit! Go on, guys!
